COVID – 19 – Important update for Access to Higher Education centres and learners

We are able  to confirm that all learners due to complete an Agored Cymru Access to Higher Education Diploma by 31 July 2020 will be awarded a graded Diploma based on the assessment they have already completed with calculated grades for all remaining assessments that have submission dates after 20 March 2020.  QAA will be producing guidance on how grades will be calculated and we will share this with centres as soon as it is available.

Coronavirus – Update for Centres delivering Agored Cymru Qualifications

We understand that centres will be concerned about the impact of the Coronavirus outbreak on learners.

Centres should contact us directly to apply for any special considerations resulting from this situation.

Welsh Government has issued guidance for educational establishments that may prove useful.
